George Coelho



George Coelho manages Venture Capital activities for Good Energies AG, a pioneering clean-technology investment company based in Zug, Switzerland. Prior to joining Good Energies, George co-founded the European arm of Benchmark Capital, now known as Balderton Capital, a leading venture capital firm. Before Benchmark, he was a founder of Intel Capital, the strategic venture capital arm of Intel Corporation. Previously, George has held a number of senior positions in corporate finance. He is a former board member and co-President of the UK chapter of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs). He currently sits on the boards of technology companies such as Tendril Networks, Inc., and KKB Energy, a Swiss-based utility focusing on renewable power production. He holds a Bachelor of Science from The American University and a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University where he is a Trustee and an advisor to the School of Business. He is also a lifetime fellow of the RSA. In 2011 he was awarded the Polish State Medal, Pro Memoria.
